All lava rocks from American Fireglass are sifted, sorted, and packed by hand. This way, they are top quality guaranteed, they can be used in a fire pit, and have no left-over gas pockets that could burst.
For optimal results, we recommend pouring a minimum of two inches of lava rock over the fire pit burner, which allows the gas and flame to filter evenly through the lava rocks.
