1-Order Processing and Shipment
As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. Orders are processed by the next business day. Shipping transit times are typically 5-8 business days.
We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the email address you provided at checkout. If you do not receive tracking information from us within two business days of your order, please reach out to us at orders@gofirepits.com.
2-Free Shipping
Outbound shipping is free for all orders in the United States.
3-Shipping Partners
We proudly ship with UPS, FedEx, and R+L Carriers.
4-Ground Shipping and LTL Freight Shipping
All items up to 150lbs ship via Ground Shipping unless otherwise noted. All items 150lbs and over ship via LTL Freight Shipping unless otherwise noted. For more details on these, see Clause 5 and Clause 6 of this Shipping Policy.
5-Ground Shipping
For items that ship via Ground, they will be delivered to your address as regular packages. Shipping times may vary with different carriers.
6-LTL Freight Shipping
For items that ship via LTL Freight, your shipment will be packaged in a wooden crate or on a wooden pallet to keep it safe during transit. We have several freight carriers that we use in order to be able to get the best rate. We will notify you of the carrier who will deliver your product and their contact info via email as soon as possible, as well as the tracking number for your order. We will also provide the carrier with your contact info - namely your phone number - and they will call you to arrange a date and time for the delivery of your shipment. Delivery times are typically a 3-hour window, but you can arrange the specifics of this with the carrier. You must be physically present to meet the driver, inspect the shipment for damage, and sign the delivery receipt, at which point the driver will leave. If you notice any visible damage to the product, such as major dents or holes, take photos of the damage, refuse the delivery, and contact us. We will arrange a replacement order for you. In case you are not home during your scheduled delivery appointment, the delivery will not be completed and the carrier will contact you again to reschedule the delivery.
7-Damages
For items shipped via Ground, any damage must be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery with photos of the damage. You may choose to receive a refund and keep the item or return it and receive a replacement item for free.
For items shipped via LTL Freight, if you notice any visible damage to the product at delivery, such as major dents or holes, you may take photos of the damage, refuse the delivery, and contact us. You may choose to: return it and receive a replacement for free, or accept the item and receive a refund of the full value of the damaged item.
8-International Shipping
We do not ship orders to nor receive returns from locations outside of the US.
9-Incorrect Items
If you receive any incorrect items in your order in lieu of the correct items, contact us and send photos of the incorrect items to returns@gofirepits.com. We will send you the correct replacement items at no charge. Or, instead, you may choose to receive a refund amounting to the value of the (correct) items you ordered which you should have received (replacements not sent in this case). You may return any incorrect items which were sent to you originally at no charge, or you may keep them (see Refunds & Returns).
10-Cancellations & Refunds
Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you used when placing your order (see Refunds & Returns). All orders cancelled after 48 hours are subject to a $20 administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped. If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping costs.
11-Returns
Delivered orders may be returned for up to 30 days after the date of delivery for a full refund less return shipping costs. For returns, email us at returns@gofirepits.com (see Refunds & Returns).
